Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by The Daily Mealz (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
1.2 The Daily Mealz reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
1.3 You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe or place orders.


2. Subscription and Ordering

2.1 Subscription Plans: We offer weekly and monthly meal plans as described on our website. Each plan specifies the number of meals, delivery schedule, and pricing.
2.2 Order Placement: Orders must be placed by 2 PM for same-day dinner and 8 PM for the next day’s lunch through our website, phone, or authorized platforms. Late orders may not be accommodated.
2.3 Menu and Customization: Menus are published on the website for the upcoming week.
2.4 Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information. We are not liable for issues arising from incorrect details.


3. Payment

3.1 Pricing: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
3.2 Payment Terms: Full payment is required at the time of ordering for single orders, or upon subscription renewal for recurring plans.
3.3 Refunds: Refunds are issued only for verified cases (see Section 6). No refunds are available for cancellations after the order cutoff or for meals already prepared/delivered.
3.4 Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we may suspend your subscription until resolved. Repeated failures may result in termination of your subscription.


4. Delivery

4.1 Delivery Schedule: We engage third-party service providers for food delivery. Delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, traffic) are not our responsibility, but we will notify you promptly.
4.2 Delivery Requirements: You must provide a safe and accessible delivery location. If no one is available to receive the order, we may leave it at the designated spot, and it becomes your responsibility.


5. Food Safety

5.1 Preparation Standards: All meals are prepared in a licensed home kitchen compliant with FSSAI regulations. Our registration no. is 21525016001137.

5.2 Consumption Advisory: Meals are intended for immediate consumption or proper refrigeration. Improper storage voids any claims related to food quality.


6. Complaints and Refunds

6.1 Complaint Process: Quality concerns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery by emailing info@thedailymealz.com with the following details:

  • Order number and proof of purchase

  • Detailed description of the issue

  • Photos or videos showing the problem (e.g., spoiled or undercooked food)

6.2 Investigation: We will review complaints within 48 hours. If the issue is verified (e.g., preparation error), we may offer a replacement, full/partial refund, or credit at our discretion.
6.3 Unproven Complaints: Complaints lacking sufficient evidence (e.g., no photos or vague claims) may be declined or resolved with a goodwill gesture.
6.4 Fraudulent Claims: Repeated unverified complaints may result in suspension of services or refusal of future orders.
6.5 Third-Party Platforms: Complaints for orders placed via third-party platforms are subject to their respective policies.


7. Cancellations and Modifications

7.1 Subscription Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription with 7 days’ notice before the next billing cycle. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
7.2 Business Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel orders or subscriptions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., ingredient shortages). You will be notified and refunded promptly.


8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 The Daily Mealz is not liable for damages, including health issues, arising from improper storage, handling, or consumption of meals.
8.2 Our liability is limited to the cost of the affected order. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
8.3 We are not liable for issues caused by third-party delivery services unless directly attributable to our preparation.


9. Termination of Service

9.1 We may terminate or suspend your subscription for:

  • Non-payment or repeated payment failures

  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior (e.g., repeated unproven complaints)

  • Violation of these Terms

9.2 You will be notified of termination, and any outstanding orders will be refunded.


10. Privacy

10.1 We collect personal information (e.g., name, address, mobile number, payment details) solely for order processing and communication.
10.2 Your data is stored securely and not shared with third parties except as required for delivery or payment processing.


11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
11.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, India.
